Hugh Hefner has sold his family residence next door to the famous Playboy Mansion for nearly $AU22 million.

The English style manor was built in 1929 and was occupied for the last 13 years by his wife, whom Hefner has been separated from for the past 10 years, and two sons. It is rumoured that the sale has come about by the graduation of his sons and their move to college leaving Kimberly with a house too large for one person. Hefner has reportedly dismissed rumours of financial strain and rejected claims that his Playboy empire has dwindled due to his lavish lifestyle.
