Sean Combs Lists Jersey Mansion

Music mogul, Sean Combs, is selling his home in New Jersey for 13.5 million.

Combs, also known as Puff Daddy, Diddy or P. Diddy, purchased the home in July of 2004 for $6 million.

The 3.25 acre estate features an enormous red brick residence with 26 rooms in total. It includes seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms, fitness room, movie theatre, garaging for at least six cars, and an indoor squash court.

The stately grounds include a swimming pool with waterfall, spa, and a tennis court.

Combs’ varied career has earned him three Grammy Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, and his clothing lines, ‘Sean John’ and ‘Sean by Sean Combs’, earned a Council of Fashion Designers of America award. Earlier this year Forbes estimated his net worth at $475 million, making him the richest figure in hip-hop.

The Osbournes to sell for $13 million

Legendary rock  icon, Ozzy Osbourne, and his equally famous wife Sharon, are selling their Hidden Hills home for nearly $13 million.

The ex-pat Brits renovated the home and employed the services of celebrity decorator Martyn Lawrence-Bullard to finalise the furnishings, who’s past clients include big-wigs such as Elton John, Cher, and Kid Rock.

The estate is spread over 2.25 acres and includes stunning manicured gardens, a sweeping driveway and stone motor court, infinity-edged swimming pool and spa, and a 11,000 square foot residence.

The house includes an expansive master retreat which includes extensive walk-in wardrobes, separate his-and-hers bathrooms, as well as his-and-hers private offices. It also boasts a double-height circular foyer, grand formal living and dining rooms with opulent open fireplaces and crystal chandeliers, a panelled library with fireplace and built-in bookcases, country-style kitchen with a walk-in pantry, a family room with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, and separate self-contained staff quarters.

A New landmark for Old Sydney

Scaffolding has been removed on the 30-storey Stamford Residences in The Rocks, giving the public their first look at the last residential high-rise permitted in this heritage conservation area.

The $243 million building ‘steps up’ from the south and is visually dominated by geometric grid lines and a glazed glass façade. The Stamford Residences is a building of classic design and dramatic proportions, offering a cornucopia of classical comforts.

Just seven of the 122 apartments remain, including two four-bedroom, three-storey penthouses - one of which is 468 square metres and is predicted to fetch at least $16 million.

To date, the top price obtained at the Stamford Residences is $6.8 million for a sub-penthouse.

“People appreciate that this is the last high-rise building in Sydney’s most sought-after precinct,” says Colin Griffin of Colliers International.

The Stamford Residences is the third apartment building developed by Stamford in the northern CBD precinct. The earlier two, Stamford On Kent and Stamford Marque, were also extremely successful.

“With each new building, you improve a little and appreciate what people want. So we have increased the size of the rooms, made the ceilings higher, added storage space, and made the balconies more useable,” says Anthony Rice, a Director of Stamford Property Services.

Although the interiors at the Stamford Residences are modern and functional, the materials used reflect timeless design influences - such as marble, granite, travertine, hand-laid solid block parquetry floors and custom-built joinery.

This sense of quality begins on arrival into the stately lobby which has floor-to-ceiling travertine, bronze detailing, specially-commissioned artworks and a sweeping staircase leading to a resident’s private meeting room and library.

The building also has a concierge, key card entry, floor-by-floor security, video surveillance, security parking and security storage.

The first fully-furnished apartment available for inspection in the Stamford Residence is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment on the 21st floor, which is on sale for $4.4 million. The apartment has views of the Bridge, the Harbour and the Opera House.

The interior decor, by Poco Designs of Woollahra, has a crisp and contemporary look, a clean colour scheme and custom designed furniture.

A feature of many apartments is a loggia which can be opened for ventilation or sealed against the weather.

In keeping with the finest residential apartment buildings, the Stamford Residences has resort-style recreational facilities such as an 18 metre heated indoor swimming pool and gymnasium.
