Mark Zuckerberg on the move

Facebook founder and controversial CEO Mark Zuckerberg has bought a new home in Palo Alto, California for $7 million.

Zuckerberg created Facebook, the second-most visited site on the Internet, behind Google, and sits at number 35 on Forbes Rich List with an estimated net worth of $6.9 billion.

The 26 year old grew up in New York with three sisters, Randi, Donna, and Arielle. Before his years at Harvard, he attended Ardsley High School before transferring to Phillips Exeter Academy in his junior year. He won prizes in science, math, astronomy, physics, and classical studies, and was captain of the fencing team. He can also read and write French, Hebrew, Latin, and ancient Greek.

His new home is spread over 5000 square feet and was built in 1903. It includes five-bedrooms,  six bathrooms,  and an outdoor entertainment pavilion with an open fireplace, barbecue, spa, and swimming pool.

Family unit set to expand

Ben Pascoe, and his wife Tiffany-Lynn Pascoe, are selling their house in the Melbourne suburb of Malvern this month.

Ben is the owner of City Automobiles Renault, Kia, and Prestige in Richmond. He comes from a family steeped in car sales history, gaining his knowledge from his father John Pascoe Snr, who owned City Automobiles – City Saab,  City Jeep/ Chrysler, City Lotus, and City Hyundai.

Carrying their family unity further, Tiffany runs an artisan cheese hamper company ‘Farmgate Cheese’ with her cousins Laura and Travis out of a shop in nearby Hawthorn.

The Victorian home has been beautifully renovated throughout and includes three generous bedrooms, one bathroom, a separate powder room, a living and dining room with open fireplace, and a gourmet kitchen.

Outside features a beautiful private deck with built in bluestone BBQ area, and a Japanese designer garden of Black bamboo by Paul Fleming, who was responsible for Daimaru’s spectacular horticultural displays during the 10 years the store was at Melbourne central.

“We have done everything we can to our home, we have had so many wonderful fun times in our house and we know whoever buys it will have the same, as our house has bought such good luck to us,” says Tiffany-Lynn Pascoe.

The couple, and their two-year-old daughter Piper-Lynn, have decided to move to larger home to expand their family.

Jodie Foster lists in Beverly Hills

Actress Jodie Foster has listed her home in Beverly Hills for sale at $10.5 million.

The 48 year old began acting in commercials at three years of age and landed her first significant role in the 1976 film Taxi Driver, for which she received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has since received two Academy Awards two BAFTA Awards, two Golden Globe Awards,  a Screen Actors Guild Award, a People's Choice Award. She has starred in  blockbusters such as ‘The Accused’, ‘The Silence of the Lambs ‘, ‘Nell ‘,and  ‘Panic Room’.

Fosters home is spread over nearly an acre of land, and includes a main residence that was built in 1949 with seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and a tennis court, a swimming pool and a guesthouse.
