Trump snaps up a fine drop

Real estate mogul Donald Trump has spent a relatively tame $6 million on an Estate and Vineyard in Virginia.

The 800 acre property was being sold by the bank after its previous owner, Patricia Kluge, faced foreclosure. Patricia, a well-known socialite in the US, is the ex-wife of billionaire media mogul John Kluge.

The Washington Post reported that Trump is more interested in “good real estate, not so much in wine”. It seems that Trump picked up quite a bargain, stating, “This place had a $28 million mortgage on it, and I bought it for $6.2 million.”

Trump reportedly intends on keeping Kluge, who has won many awards for her wines, as an integral part of the running of the vineyard.
