Hilton hits a high note

A buyer has purchased a sub penthouse for $4.7 million in the $700 million Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences on the Gold Coast, equating to one of the highest price per square metre rates ever achieved in Queensland.

The purchaser snapped up the apartment ahead of the official release of the development’s collection of sub-penthouses and penthouses, which is expected later this year.

“The buyer was holidaying on the Gold Coast and will use the apartment as a holiday home for his family,” says Brookfield Multiplex sales and marketing director Tim Willing.

To date, the highest price per square metre achieved at Hilton Surfers Paradise is $17,408 square metres.

The sub-penthouse will feature four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a powder room, and northeast aspect taking in views east to the ocean, north to the Broadwater and west to the Gold Coast Hinterland.

It will include Gaggenau appliances, designer lighting, marble flooring, keyless entry, three car parking spaces, and smart wiring.

Triptych's Penthouse Collection

Melbourne's new art-inspired apartment residence, ‘Triptych’, has just unveiled ‘The Penthouse Collection’, seven lavish four-bedroom apartments offering the ultimate in high-end indulgence.

Located on the top five levels of the building, these penthouses offer four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a powder room, and have been designed in two distinct styles, the ‘X’ series and the ‘G’ series.

The ‘X’ series features a choice of three 306 square metre floor-plans, and depending on purchasers’ needs, these luxurious apartments come with either a large dedication to outdoor space, a focus on entertaining or spacious indoor rooms.

The ‘G’ series integrates three separate living zones into each apartment, including formal, informal and a multi-purpose space, perfect for a games room, library, home-office or even a fifth bedroom if required.

The ‘G’ apartments showcase breathtaking views over the lush Royal Botanic Gardens and Melbourne's iconic arts spire, while the ‘X’ series feature large terraces and views over the city skyline.

Each terrace has been fitted with individual, Robert Owen designed privacy screens to provide shelter from the wind in winter and protect from excess sunlight in the warmer months. They have also been fitted with an in-built barbeque and ample bench space.

Inside, each of the gourmet kitchens come complete with double ovens, integrated fridges, a wine fridge and a walk-in butler’s pantry, perfect for entertaining. Each of the master bedrooms and ensuites include bespoke joinery and wardrobes from the Italian masters of Poliform.

These beautiful penthouses have been designed to mimic a free standing home and include both a front and rear entry as well as private front entrance lobby.

The penthouses start from $3.75 million. A limited number of one, two and three bedroom apartments are available from $750,000.

“Right from Triptych’s inception, we have sought to raise the bar for innovation and design, and it shows,” says Danny Flynn, Stable Group Managing Director.

Perhaps one of Australia’s only residential buildings to feature a titled artwork as its iconic façade, Triptych’s exterior has been expertly designed and sculpted by renowned Australian artist, Robert Owen.

Titled ‘Digital Showers’, the façade projects the effect of sun-lit rain drops running down the building and dispersing in coloured puddles at its base.

Just some of the building’s other features include a podium level rooftop garden complete with yoga deck and vertical green garden, a 25-metre lap pool and the unique ‘vertical village’ open-air atrium concept.

Italian inspiration

Situated in a dress circle position in the hinterland of the Gold Coast only 20 minutes from Surfers Paradise, ‘Villa Capistrano’ has been designed to capture the stunning views surrounding this wonderful property.

One of only a few elevated suburbs on the Gold Coasts Mudgeeraba hinterland, Tallai is renowned for its limited number of luxurious acreage homes, which rarely come on the market.

Enjoying a prime ridge top position, ‘Villa Capistrano’ is inspired by the owner’s origins in the region of Calabria in Italy and combines the very essence of a private rural retreat, with all the glamour of the Gold Coast.

Capturing sweeping North Easterly views from every room this grand architecturally designed home is situated on 7.5 acres of bush lands just in front of Hinze Dam.

It has been architecturally designed first and foremost as a family home and is spread over an enormous 1300 square metres of living area.

Constructed over three levels, the ground floor features numerous interconnecting formal and informal living spaces, and features two wood burning fireplaces. The large kitchen was designed with the entertainer in mind and features black galaxy granite bench tops.

The lower level features a large wine cellar and offers direct acccess to the tennis court as well as a self contained private family accommodation area ideal as a teenage retreat, or for visitors and extended family.

Four comfortable bedrooms, including a spacious main bedroom suite with a luxurious en-suite bathroom, are located on the upper level.

The resort like facilities include a heated salt water swimming pool with spa, another indoor spa pool with swim jet, tennis court, gymnasium, steam room, and games room with built-in bar.
A barbeque terrace and balcony run the length of the ground floor level with easy access from the living areas.
