$20m price tag for Portsea Estate

Former Computershare director, Michele O’Halloran, is selling her expansive estate, 'Ilyuka', in the seaside suburb of Sorrento for $20 million.

The restored and renovated Hollywood-style home was built for American oil tycoon, Harry Cornforth, in 1929-30, and is situated atop Portsea's coveted cliff top, next to the likes of trucking magnate Lindsay Fox and investment banker John McIntosh. It includes eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms, basement cellar, and generously proportioned living, dining, and entertaining rooms.

The grounds sprawl over two acres and feature a full–sized grass tennis court, sweeping driveway, private steps to the exclusive Point King beach and access to a private jetty.

The retired businesswoman, and mother of two, bought ‘Ilyuka’ in 1999 for $7.5 million.

The one bedroom apartment, which Kerr regularly used in the past when she was a single Victoria's Secret model, is located on the tenth floor in the ‘Jade Building’, named for Jade Jagger, who helped design the project. It includes floor-to-ceiling windows and two Juliet balconies.

Kerr is due to give birth early next year but she and her actor husband, Orlando Bloom, has made no secret that her career is no longer her biggest priority, and that she is looking forward to motherhood and family life.
