Docklands heats up with record sale

Property developer, Mirvac, has sold a Docklands off-the-plan pad for $6.35 million, a record for the newly developed area.

Once a muddy riverbank used as a dry dock, Melbourne’s Docklands area is now emerging as a new ‘millionaire’s row’. The area has lured the wealthy with its proximity to the CBD, river and bay views, boating facilities and is proving to be a lucrative investment.

The home includes five bedrooms, home theatre, wine cellar, gym, internal lift between floors, a gourmet chef’s kitchen, numerous entertaining terraces, a lap pool, and a private mooring.

The local buyer also bought a private river berth metres from the four-level house for $350,000.

Coastal Living at it's best

Located in northern New South Wales, this architecturally designed house showcases all the best of coastal living in contemporary style.

The home features extensive use of stone and marble, has soaring ceilings, and uses huge expanses of glass to merge the interiors with the outdoor living areas.

“Not every home grants you a parklike backyard and an ocean within a stone’s throw. This masterpiece accomplishes such a feat with style and elegance,” says agent Iain Ferguson of Ray White Kingscliff.

The property includes a luxurious master bedroom with private ensuite, four further bedrooms and two bathrooms, three individual living areas, media room, two undercover outdoor entertaining areas, swimming pool and spa.

Marketed at $2.9 million. For further information, find it on Millionplus.
