Paul Choiselat sells for $11 million

As previously featured in Rich Pickings, one of Melbourne’s most expensive apartments in the five star development, ‘150 Clarendon Street’, in East Melbourne has sold for more than $11 million.

The Melbourne buyer outbid four other interested parties, two locals, one from India, and one from Hong Kong.

"Once again, as has been the case on several large sales recently; such as The Melburnian Penthouse and 486 Barkers Road Hawthorn, the local market has stepped up to meet the strength of the overseas buyers," says Ross Savas of Kay & Burton.

The 69-square apartment was owned by Paul Choiselat, managing director of investment firm Beconwood Securities, and features floor to ceiling glass throughout and an enormous 260msq terrace with breathtaking views over the neighbouring Fitzroy Gardens and across to the city, bay and the Dandenong ranges.
