luxury living meets fine dining

UK celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, has added international flavour to Monday’s launch of one of Melbourne’s most expensive apartments in the five star development, ‘150 Clarendon Street’, in East Melbourne.

More than 120 guests, including several interested parties who flew in especially from Europe and Asia, attended the glittering open house where Ramsay’s newly opened restaurant, ‘Maze’ provided international Michelin star Chef Josh Emett for the night.

The eleventh floor apartment has recently been completed and features floor to ceiling glass throughout and an enormous 260msq terrace with breathtaking views over the neighboring Fitzroy Gardens and across to the city, bay and the Dandenongs.

Kay & Burton Director Ross Savas says it is important for buyers to see the real potential of these properties.

“Many of these homes are being bought by business leaders and prominent families who plan to be entertaining in them at the highest level,” says Ross Savas.

The development offers amenities typical of a five star hotel, including a 24 hour concierge, business centre, movie theatre, spectacular pool complex, wine storage and tasting facility and a yet to be opened restaurant, delicatessen and wellness centre.

Dingle Partners Director Anton Wongtrakun believes the event will also promote 150 Clarendon Street as Australia’s most prestigious apartment building.

Wongtrakun says, “This is an extraordinary concept, which is delivering a level of finishes and features that are simply unseen in Melbourne.”

The apartment is being sold by Melbourne businessman Paul Choiselat, Managing Director of the investment firm Beconwood Securities.
