Baillieu family sells for over $20 million
The Baillieu family have sold their rural property, named ‘Mt Elephant Station’, to another international investor. The buyer, Swedish Count Carl Gustav Wachmeister, has paid the largest sum for a rural property since mid 2008 renewing confidence in the farming sector.
The architecturally designed two storey house is located in Derrinallum, only two hours from Melbourne, and offers five bedrooms, five bathrooms, swimming pool, tennis court, stunning manicured English style gardens, station outbuildings, eight stand bluestone woolshed, shearers quarters, managers residence, separate cottages, machinery shedding, and undercover cattle yards.
